[G4] G4 info needed

To me, there's a question here about practicality. As you say, all these upgrades can add up to some money. A couple of months ago, I bought a G5 2gHz Dual-Core tower with 3 Gigs of RAM, a 320Gig HD, and a dual-layer DVD burner for $1000 from its original owner. It's just like new with the OSX.10.4.10 and all the manuals, etc. in the original Apple packaging. Roberts G4 would be fine as-is, plus OSX.4.x, for internet use. I wonder if it would make sense to upgrade it for video editing.
