I've been following this thread, There are 2 facts you should know.

1) If you put a SCSI Card into you G4, you will not be able to let the
computer sleep. You must set the Energy Panel to _NEVER_ let the
computer sleep.

2) The older cards will not work with Leopard. Only the newer ones
mentioned. So if you plan to move them to a G5 with Leopard down the
road. Go with one of these:
