[G4] G4 speed increase

Hi,

I am new to MAC and have recently purchased a Gigabit dual 500mhz CPU with
2GB RAM, an ATI Radeon 9200 PCI card and running OS 10.4.11. How do I make
this machine go faster? I do not want to spend the money on a G5 but do I
have any other alternative?
