If this helps with the questions, the serial number etc from inside the removable panel is:

1.8 GHZ DP/256MB 400/80GB SD

I've ordered a small SATA drive and have been told the memory I have 'should' work with this machine.  If it does then I'll get a larger drive and more memory.

Can anyone tell me if this machine would have the same HD capacity limitations as my Dual G4 450?  I was gutted when I put a 200GB drive in and it would only see about 130GB.

I want to use it for music production as the G4 I have really isn't up to the job.
