Mac G4 (AGP Graphics) with Sonnet 1 GHz accelerator, OS X 10.3.9 I have noticed that when the speaker volume is set at maximum, the CPU doesn't "bong" at startup. As soon as I drop the volume setting just a little, the "bong" occurs normally during startup... -- Garth Fletcher
