[G4] Wireless settings being reset

Hello G4 Gang:
I recently added a USB wireless Adapter to my G4 P/B  867 Ghz TI,  got  
it set up and working. Had a problem with another App. the next time I  
tried to go on line ,it would not connect to the wireless modem. When  
I tried to reenter the info, I get a pop-up window that says "  
Settings changed by another App."  Where can I locate what cause's  
this, and how do I fix it??

I am using OS 10.4.11 and the Adapter is a Hawking HWUG1, my wireless  
modem is a Westell 327.
