[G4] Microphone input for G4 MDD

Hello,

Where is the microphone jack on the Powermac G4 MDD?

I see a jack on the back next to the headphone jack, but the icon is  
not that of the usual microphone icon, unless what I am seeing is a  
stereo microphone icon.

I inserted my headset's monaural microphone plug into this jack, but  
on the control panel, there is no indication that a signal is being  
received from the microphone.
