IMONVHBANMO, the best bang for the buck is a SATA card. Maxing out my RAM did not speed up my DA. A flashed GeForce 6200 and a SATA card/SATA drive did wonders. And you can get 1 TB drives for well under $100 these days. The comments about hybrid drives are also well worth considering, if disk I/O is an issue for you, although I have no personal experience.
