[G4] g4 problem

Hi i have a Mac G4 and I have this problem:

When I turn on the Mac G4 WITH Mac OS 9, the screen display stays all grey
and nothing more..

So I start with the CD Power Mac G4 Restore...and when I want to restore.
the hard disk do no exist

on the list.what can I do?
