[G5] iPod accessories

FM transmitters work well for some and not so well for others. It  
depends on your vehicle and where you drive. For me none worked well.  
Cassette adapters are okay but I wore three out - then wore out my  
car stereo. (I put about 36K a year on my car.) The best solution  
(and costliest) is buying a deck made for the iPod which plugs right  
into the socket at the bottom. Next to that, look at a deck that has  
an auxiliary input. That is the solution I settled on and I'm  
extremely happy.
