All these utilities are available for OSX, and you will need to use the 
OSX version to run them in OSX.

For disk maintanence, read the latest Tidbits "test report" article at 
http://www.tidbits.com/tb-issues/TidBITS-732.html

The first recommendation is DiskWarrior.

MacLinkPlus is not needed by many anymore. Appleworks translators that 
are built-in usually work fine. You'll find out if you need it, and 
then you can buy it.

You can also use an antivirus program, but unless you use a lot of MS 
Word documents, there really is not much of a need for one.
