Importing Bookmarks into Safari

If it didn't import automatically on your first startup then you'll have to
enable the debug menu. One of the items in the debug menu is "Import
Bookmarks". It works for most common browsers.

To enable the debug menu you'll have to get a utility such as "Safari
Enhancer" from versiontracker.com. Do a search for Safari.

Also you could run a maintenance utility such as Cocktail or Onyx. Both of
which have added functions to enable the debug menu.
