I have an Elite Mercury Pro, or something like that, from OWC.  It
has the 8MB cache, is 7200 rpm, and I've had no problems at all using
it with my Canon Optura 200MC.  These drives got rave reviews and I
highly recommend them for DV use.  But then, I'm just getting
sttarted with this stuff ;-)
