Can you have a standalone DVD player play DVDs in progressive scan mode using the Mac (either CRT or LCD) as a monitor? How do you do it under MacOS 9? ...under OS X ? Sean P.S. Supposing you had a Mac with a DVD drive, are all DVDs that are played in this way displayed in progressive scan mode (because computer screens don't interlace the video)?
