Doh!  I was trying to click on the roll name in the window . . .

That seems to work pretty well - I tried exporting and that messes up 
the photo creation dates, but drag-and-drop doesn't (go figure . . .) 
Still kind of annoying if you have a roll with 50 pictures and you want 
to add one to it.
