To be honest, Chris, I must be one of the lucky ones.  I've read all of 
the nasty horror stories about this little box, but I have not had one 
single solitary problem with mine.  Having done numerous 2+ hour 
captures, and hundreds of 5+ min captures, I have to say that I am very 
happy with it, indeed.
