Simon, The Canopus ADVC-100 will handle both PAL and NTSC. I've heard from a knowledgable source that Canopus uses the best algorithm for the A/D conversion. Hope this helps, Rick > I still use it for a 2nd monitor but my real use >was to import analogue video in BOTH NTSC AND PAL
