I expected to need it and I am an adult student in my local community 
college's Digital Arts department. But in fact no I did not. When I got 
to the store 160 miles from my home, my student ID was not requested by 
anyone. I had a temporary transcript with me as I had never bothered to 
purchase a student ID card to date. But I only needed to present my 
VISA card and my driver's license ID to complete the purchase. So while 
I am legit, this purchase could have been made by someone who was not. 
There is also no requirement of proof of academic credentials on the 
FCP 4 Up-To-Date form either.

That's certainly not the purpose of my explanation. I am trying to help 
anyone who is legitimately qualified to get this deal before Friday 
evening 7PM eastern time.
