Why it will not work under Premiere

What version of Adobe Premiere are you running? This would actually be a 
good topic. I am thinking of getting a Canon ZR-60. I have Premiere 6.5. 
The ZR-60 is not officially certified but many uncertified DV devices do 
work. Have you tried connecting under generic? It is a real shame Adobe 
would leave people out in the cold like this. Adobe never ever certified 
the Canon ZR-40 and that was lat year's model. Anyone feel the same as I?
