I suggest you ask your question to a Premiere only forum that has I think 7 hosts:

Go to the Premiere forum and ask.

Most people work on windows machines there, but I would like to think that Premiere  device control would be the same for Mac and Windows.  I didn't see which version of Premiere you have.  Make sure you mention it when you ask your question- it may make a difference.
