Diane,
Americal does carry varrious brand names as well as
their generic. I purchase their generic. ForDVD-R 1x
general, one reorder number is 702991 for 4x-1x
general, the reorder number is 70224. Both of these
work well for me. Remember that if you are using a
Pioneer (Super drive)A104 or earlier, you better stick
with 1x General DVD-R's. I'm sure their generic disks
are made by one of the companies making brand name
disks.
