Thanks to all who gave me suggestions:  Thought I'd pass on the 
following:

I ended up going through:
http://domains.canadawebhosting.com/

It's 9.95 US funds per name annually, but INCLUDES URL forwarding, 
cloaking and email forwarding.  They email a password, which has some 
other address, but the trick is to login and do your changes through 
their other page at:
http://domaininvestigator.com/

I'm not very good at internet forms, but was able to get it to work and 
unlike several others, they actually answered their phone and helped.
