I have the perfect solution. This will amaze your friends as well. Put the CD 
in a microwave and set for 3 to 5 seconds. (More than 5 seconds can ruin the 
microwave) Watch through the window. Instant light show. Only one show per CD.

What is the best way to destroy used CD-R's?  I have several that have 
personal backup data which is very old that I no longer need and I do 
not want to just throw them in the trash with this data still 
accessible.  What does everyone think?
