Actually you don't need Photoshop 7 as Photoshop Elements 2 is suppose 
to be able to import images from the scanner directly.

P.S. I have this scanner and it certainly is not the fastest but the 
quality is more than what is required for video work.  It also is one 
of the best looking scanners available especially sitting next to Apple 
computers.
