Audio X

Hello, I've hooked up a cassette deck to my PowerMac
G4 using a "Y" cable and have downloaded Audio X to
use in recording. I am once again getting a signal but
I still do not get any sound from the audio out
connection on the Mac. Audio X shows recording but can
not get any sound. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.
