iDVD/iMovie 4 vs. FCE1/DVDSP2

Has anyone done any comparisons between the quality of video done with iDVD4 vs.  DVDSP2?  I've got some 4:3 material I'm wanting to do up some quick and dirty DVD's of, but I want the best quality video I can get.  

My thought was to simply capture it with FCE1, and do a very quick edit, and spit it out to Compressor and A.Pack (to get DD 2.0) then do a quick DVD up in DVDSP2.  Obviously iDVD 4 would be faster, would it be anywhere near as good?
