Don't know.  I still use Toast 5.2.1, or whatever version still works.

Describe the symptoms better - is the disk showing up on the desktop?  
In the G4 MDD I have, it mattered which drive bay it occupied (has to 
be the first or top bay).  Don't know about your system.
