internal drives vs 800 FW exterior

I think xlr8.com had a study on this comparing 400, 800, and internal 
IDE. Not sure if SATA was included. But I remember the internals always 
being faster. Even when the 800s with in a RAID environment. The study 
was about 3-4 months ago. Should be there somewhere.
