.WMV Files

A friend called to say that he has a .WMV file - which I assume is Windows
Media Video. 

He's going to have to ship me the disk due to the file size - is there any
way of opening it in iMovie, QuickTime Pro or any other program and
converting it to QT, then creating a iDVD/DVD SP project?
