Did you look at Apple's wireless keyboard/mouse.  I installed one on a 
G4/400 PCI. and it works well under OSX & OS9.

My only comment is, the mouse takes longer (3x) to login than the 
keyboard (less than 15 sec).  It logs in after they are turned on.
