[MacDV] Your Canon woes:(

I just finished a side by side comparison for a client of the GL-2 and 
the Sony DSR-250.  My results indicate that you might regret using a 
GL-1 for
cinema grade video.   The camera looks nice by itself but flops 
alongside a modest industrial grade unit like the DSR-250.   rr
