[MacDV] October BOSFCPUG Meeting

This is a friendly reminder to please join us for the next gathering of 
the Boston Final Cut Pro User Group (BOSFCPUG) meeting next Tuesday, 
October 26th, from 6:30pm - 9:30pm, at the Billy Bordy Theater at 
Emerson College.  Doors open at 6pm.

Our theme for our October meeting is "FCP Tips and Techniques" - we're 
going to devote the whole evening on how-to edit with Final Cut Pro, 
and take your questions and answer them.

As usual, our meeting is free and open to public ($5 donation to enter 
Big Dig Raffle).

We are very happy to have Don back with us for the evening to answer 
questions and to share some of his favorite FCP HD tips.

- CHRIS PHROMMAYON of Future Media Concepts
Although Final Cut Pro doesn't currently have a "MULTICAM" feature, 
Chris will demonstrate a technique for cutting between multiple cameras 
while maintaining sync.

- ANNE RENEHAN of Boris FX
Anne is back with some very cool tips on working with Calligraphy, 
which is included with FCP HD and Continuum Complete in Final Cut Pro 
HD

- CHARLES ROBERTS, author
Charlie's back! and he's got a very cool demo on using FCP's TRIM 
WINDOW.

- LOREN MILLER of NeoTron Design
Loren, author of the legendary "KEYGUIDE" series, is back to share some 
hot time-saving keystrokes to help you use your mouse less in FCP HD.

- FCP GURU PANEL
A great part of the evening where you get to find out the answers to 
your burning FCP questions.

- Plus the Big Dig Raffle!

Complimentary beverages and snacks will be available throughout the 
evening.   After the presentations, stay for the raffle and to 
socialize with your peers and pick the brains of industry gurus.
