On the other hand.... I just bought Panther as insurance. Even if Tiger 10.4.0 isn't as buggy as Jaguar 10.2.0 and Panther 10.3.0, I'm not interested in being the ginea pig to find out. Not to mention the disaster of 10.0. I'm still waiting and hoping for Panther 10.3.9 to settle the instability of FW drives not being recognized. It's not uncommon for the first release of an OS to be not ready for prime time. The fact that Tiger went gold master a couple of days ago is more related to meeting shipping dates than a guarantee of stability. My wife is still gun shy about installing Windows XP service pack 2. :-) FWIW, Neil Poese sb wrote: >The next version of FCP is supposed to be announced and shown April 19, >during NAB. >Tiger is supposed to be released April 22nd. >There may be a speed bump in G5's too. > >You should probably wait the 2 weeks, if you want the latest. > > regards, > > sb > > >On 4/3/05 4:57 PM, "Colt Freeman" <cfreeman at liberty.edu> wrote: > > > >>Hey, >>Question for you guys, are we expecting anything new with Tiger for DV >>stuff?
