Thanks for the Information. I wonder to what extent the Apple solution 
applies to a 20 " non ADC connector LCD monitor. Anyway, I am not worried since I 
have 27 months left on my Apple Care coverage so I can afford to wait it out and 
see if the problem reoccurs. ,
