So when using FCP put in chapter markers (Hit M twice and define yer  
chapter mark) then use the export to quicktime,
  to make a .dv file. That will load into iDVD.
  Also you can load the .dv file of your video into Quicktime player  
and use the cut/paste to drag out small bits for your drop zones.
