Thanks for all the info from everyone. I'm going to try ffmpegX next but like Michael said it's hard to load and I've just put off using it because of that fact. All the others haven't worked including Toast, Streamclip, and VLC. I finally figured out it's an .asf (Windows) file. Ron in Memphis
