[MacDV] DVD problems

I think you are confusing a DL-capable burner, and a dvd player that  
can read DL disks.

Almost all commercial movie DVDs are DL/DS and it would be a rare DVD  
drive that could not read any commercial DVDs.

I think the OP was burning on a DL capable Mac but could not read on  
the Dell.
