[MacDV] MPEG Stream Clip Question

MPEG Sreamclip could use much more detailed documentation.  I suppose 
you have tried opening two files, and copy/pasting the video from one 
into the other.  Below are a few of quotes from the documentation, that 
make is seem like it _ought_ to be possible.  But what are the steps?
