where does the sound come out of the accordion?

in only one place? or two?

the mic input's on the fw410 have quite a good amount of gain...

not to me.

that affects my choice of mic's and pre's...

a very sensitive mic is needed i feel... and a large diaphragm
condenser would be best in my opinion.

also since the accordion moves around whilst being played mic placement
will need to be planned carefully...

if i had "Studio A" from a $5,000,000 recording studio - i'd use
better...  =)

i didn't really consider the fw410 as being top-level pro gear...

the only noise i hear is when the the mic gain is nearly ALL the way on
- CRANKED.

and when it is CRANKED - i can hear all sorts of things i'd not want in
the recording anyway..

so i keep the gain set so that no noise is audible or detectable...
