Back in April a deal was struck between Scansoft and IBM whereby ScanSoft is
now responsible for the distribution and support of ViaVoice products but
IBM retains the development rights. This in addition to other agreements
outlined in:

<http://www.scansoft.com/news/pressreleases/2003/20030425_ibm.asp>

The key paragraph for ViaVoice users is:

"ScanSoft will Distribute IBM ViaVoice Desktop Products - IBM has granted
ScanSoft global distribution rights to IBM ViaVoice desktop dictation
products. ScanSoft will market, distribute, sell and support the product
for the Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh platforms. The relationship
leverages ScanSoft's expertise and resources in delivering productivity
applications through broad channels and will help bring dictation solutions
to a wider audience. IBM's ViaVoice desktop products complement the
ScanSoft Dragon NaturallySpeaking family by expanding languages and channels
for China, Germany, Japan and Latin America, and by adding Macintosh-based
editions to its product line. IBM will continue to enhance and develop new
versions of ViaVoice desktop products. "

MacConnection has ViaVoice for Mac OS X

So does MacMall

<http://www.macmall.com/macmall/shop/detail.asp?dpno=243265>

(Note: a recent print MacMall catalog had the legal vocabulary for use with
ViaVoice for Mac OS X; but I have not been able to find it online. If I
still had the catalog I'd give you the part number. It *might* be worth
calling MacMall)

Macwarehouse has ViaVoice for OS X and the medical vocabulary; but I don't
see the legal vocabulary.

ViaVoice for OS X

Medical vocabulary for ViaVoice for OS X

<http://www2.warehouse.com/product.asp?pf_id=COM1406&blind=no&BCID=4548403>

I have a feeling finding the legal vocabulary, if it ha not been pulled from
the market due to lack of sales, will take considerable effort.

Personally, I think it's a matter of time before ViaVoice gets pulled from
the market all together.
