OS X ScanSoft Via Voice

Am a longtime speech recognition junkie- paralyzed right arm, worn 
out left, Mac Head. Am typing this in OS X. Have Power Secretary 
which works in 9.2.2.

Tried, and abandoned earliest Via Voice for Mac. Have beta tested 
MacSpeech which does not really work efficiently. Really need a 
dictation system that works, desperately

Options

1. Buy new ScanSoft ViaVoice v.3 for Mac. Does anyone have experience with it?

2. Get an IBM compatible laptop and use Dragon Naturally Speaking, 
dropping data into Mac via network, already in place
