[Ti] Ethernet cable (crossover?)

I am not sure if this answers your question exactly, but with my 
Ti-500 (3/2001 REv A) I use a crossed ethernet cable to connect to my 
old (3400c) Powerbook or to my DSL modem, and (if I remember 
correctly) when my daughter is home, to her ('original') iBook.
