Lucky? Apple Store Job

    Gee, after all this, I wonder if I'm lucky that the folks at the coming
Apple Store near me didn't hire me.  :(  (Opening in May in Huntington, NY.)

    My wife (nicely) first suggested I was overqualified  - I've been in
computers for 25 years, having built my first one in the 70s, have been a
part time Mac consultant, and run a business for a decade and a half. I just
wanted some part time hours as I'm now a full time stay at home dad. And it
could be fun.

    She later (less charitably) suggested I was too old. :) (Hey if at 46 I
can keep up with a 6 and 3 year old every day....)

    Did hurt my ego a bit. :(

    I seem to recall the manager and assistant manager were new to Apple -
(days and ? months) so maybe not Mac nuts. True believers would be more fun.
And as I said reading all the messages here....
