The license prevented Apple Computer from making musical instruments. That
chip was considered a musical instrument. It also restricted Apple computer
from music reproduction devices such as phonographs. So I am not sure where
the iPod fits in, but I would imagine that Apple Corps is OK with it.

As I mentioned Apple Corps was working out the details of a new agreement

many years and I have always felt that showbiz lawyers are far better at
protecting the intellectual property rights of their clients than the tech
lawyers.
