QuickTime 6.2 - strange font behavior

I noticed since upgrading to the latest QT, some fonts of same size and
characteristics are smoothed and others are not.

I noticed this especially in iTunes 4 that uses Verdana. Some lines have
smoothing but all the rest are starkly rendered (very same font on all
lists). I have also noticed this with Entourage and a few other
applications. I have it set so that all fonts over 9 are supposed to be
smoothed.

Anybody else having this happen?
