For the person who was looking for suggestions on their sluggish 
Ti400, this just came across the VersionTracker OSX update list:

Runs the system's 3 maintenance scripts

If you are shutting down your Mac every night, this is a great piece 
of freeware. If those logs become too large they will definitely 
cause performance issues.
