There are many people having this problem. Go to the Powerbook forums at
Apple/support to read all the messages!
My computer has this problem too. After having spend one week of software
installation and tuning of this new machine it makes me crazy because it
seems to be a hardware problem and I shall probably have to reformat the
hard drive and try several other (unefficient) software-related solutions
while the problem is hardware-based (power management unit is defective).
On my tiBook, this problem also makes the computer having difficulties to
start. I must "re-start" it (Cmd-Ctrl-start) rather than start it the
regular way. And most of the times I have to do it several times before it
boots!
