Send it in for service.  My experience with this problem has shown that a cracked hinge is the most likely culprit.  If you lightly flex the screen and the line goes away then it is most likely a cracked hinge.  It will get worse if it is not fixed.  As it stands right now you are probably only looking at a busted hinge.  If you let it go too long you will be looking at a busted (shorted) screen.  The fix should be a cheap one, guess at $350.
