Celebrate with me! New Powerbook 667 (DVI) for 999.99

Hello listers.  I had to write to vent my glee at a very good deal I found
on ebay.  I needed to find a portable for my father and was looking at a 700
mhz iBook, which was right along at my 999.00 budget.

While goofing off on ebay, I found a Powerbook 667 DVI machine with 768 mb
of ram which was getting little traction and I ended up winnin the auction
for 999.99.  I was a bit nervous as the price was too good to be true. Well
the machine arrived today and is immaculate.  This looks in better shape
than my Ti 400 looked when it arrived from Apple directly.

Dad now gets a bigger screen, G4 processor, Combo drive, and more ram than
he would have in a new iBook.  The warranty period is still in effect and I
grabbed Applecare for the machine as well.

The only drawback is that I need to warn him not to use the thing on his lap.

Man I am happy.
