[Ti] ports being side mounted

What?  A docking station has to be plugged into those same ports.... I do
not see how wear is an issue except in that the docking station wears out
ALL the ports, not just the ones you are using.   USB and FireWire and their
lack of traditional fragile "pin" type ports has made this much less of a
concern.
